Museum Servivit
Welcome to Museum Servivit! Join Angelo, a sprightly old man who recently started his new job here as a night keeper. However, this experience will prove to be pretty far from ordinary. Will you help him discover the terrible secret hiding in the Museum?
The game was made in one month during the GitHub Game Off Game Jam 2024, which ran from the 1st of November to the 1st of December 2024 and was based on the “Secret” theme. GitHub's game repository is here.
Gameplay
In Servivit Museum, the player must follow the Curator's instructions and care for the museum during Angelo's night shift. Sounds easy, right? What could go wrong?
Move Angelo, close the museum, interact with the different artifacts to solve puzzles, and reveal the Museum's obscure secret.
All the assets were created from scratch during GitHub Game Off Game Jam 2024. A special thanks to everyone who recently tested the game!

I really appreciated the comedic tone of the art style here, it gives a lot of personality and charm to the museum, making it interesting to explore while solving the puzzles! (I sort of expected to be able to speak with the guests even before answering the phone call from the boss, just to have a little banter with them while exploring the area before progressing with the story). The story piqued my interest as well and it would be fun to play a longer version of it in a bigger museum if you ever feel like expanding this project, it would definitely be worth it 👀
